| Kite-flying, designing and making is one of my many hobbies. It started by buying a kite on Terschelling, a small island to the north of Friesland. One year later I had outgrown it, a bigger one was found at the kite-store of Frits Jansma in Alkmaar. He supplied me with a STEALTH. I soon discovered to my disgrace that buying kites is an expensive hobby. Using Frits as a knowledge-base a Sanyo was made. Later experiments begot me, next to a lot of fun, this kite. Span is 4meters (ca.12 foot). Height 3 meter (9foot). It flies from light to heavy winds (1 to 6 Beaufort).
